E-Navigation – a tool for safe navigation
E-Navigation is one of the tasks within the EfficienSea project. The E-Navigation scheme aims to create an integrated intelligent navigation system that provides navigators with the essential information that they need – and only that.
Better collection and exchange of information
The aim of E-Navigation is to create a tool that can collect, optimise and sort the information. Today there are many medium and large quantities of information on the bridge. E-Navigation will put all this into a system that shows only the relevant information for each ship, and automatically generates the administrative information that the ship has to send to the authorities or suchlike.
Increased safety, locally and globally
As a result, E-Navigation is a tool that improves navigation safety both in our own waters and around the world.
