Rescue operations
Every year the Coastal Rescue Service is called out about 1000 times.
The operations can be divided into three categories:
- Category 1: Operations where people’s lives are endangered (or can be expected to be endangered within a short time).
- Category 2: Operations where people’s lives are not endangered (such as, for instance, oil slick observations, towing, or ambulance service).
- Category 3: Internal activities (such as practice operations).
